Teza's Hortus Magnificum is greatly indebted to this plant, Corydalis flexuosa 'Blue Panda,' which is the single plant from which my horticultural obsession with the colour blue originated from. No mauvish-purple for me, I want the real deal: the iridescent icy blue flowers that I was once overheard to describe as follows:

'... a shoal of shimmering, shivering, iridescent icy blue sea horses, afloat atop a tumultuous sea of grey-blue fern inspired waves!'

Of course, it was shortly after said comment that my malady was finally diagnosed!
