‘Now Where Did I Leave that Damned Trowel?’

I vaguely remember making a promise to myself, perhaps it was one of those silly ‘resolutions’ associated with New Year’s, but nonetheless, things are becoming increasingly crowded of late! At last count, I have no less than twenty newly acquired plants that are awaiting transplant into their new homes. Aside of the ones pictured here, are two new trees, [Acer campestre ‘Carnival’ and Larix decidua ‘Horstmann’s Recurvata’] a mouth-watering selection of larger and well established Meconopsis [ two Grandis and one Betonicifolia] a delightful but tender variegated Acanthus and two more Corydalis [ yes, another blue one and a delightful yellow one!] It would appear that the obsession continues to grow exponentially with each passing year! Is there a twelve step [or in this case, a hundred mile!] program available for folks like me?

Please tell me I am not the only one in this predicament? Come on people, speak up, this is not the time to be shy and timid!

You are not alone, and I have two more plant sales to attend this week!

Truthfully, not so much this year. I think the cold, wet spring has put a damper on my plant desires. On the upside, the plants that I already have love the extra moisture. Hope you find your trowel. :)
