The countdown is on….. ten days and counting until the official start of Spring. Its been wet and mild for the last three days, but there is a call for more snow before the end of the week – hence the shimmering icy blue Corydalis!

Hello sweetie !
We drove in an almost blizzard around Kingston today (Wednesday 13th) .. it stopped for a bit .. melted .. then came back with HUGE snow flakes again .. one snowflake hit me in the face and almost knocked me over! LOL
I checked the sorry state of my helleblore and swore an oath that I would clean the bed up and cut away all the awful dead foliage to make room for all the gorgeous flowers/foliage that will grow there .. BIg sigh, do you think that will really happen ? winkwink
Joy ;-)
you gotta' LOVE the BLUE !!
My artichoke seeds are emerging! 10 more weeks before I can plant them though!(at least!)
Phone!
Beautiful and I do like blue flowers
I'm so donedonedone with this winter - so I'm going to get on a train and go to Ottawa! got the $80/return train special. Old highschool friend. We will talk until we can't talk any more and I'll get on a train and come home. GWA - Larry Hodgson announced a Wednesday tour at Frank Cabot's Quatre Vents.....only room for 40 - just thought I'd put that out there. He's asked everyone who has been to step aside - it's been so long all my slides are well, slides. But if it's not Quebec - it will be something else.

Spring is just a word....
Ahh, corydalis! I was thinking of adding some to a dryish pot this spring since my soil is too heavy for them. I miss having them in the garden.
NOT PATIENT ANY MORE. NOT THE LEAST BIT!!!!
OK now. Are we done yet with filthy snow? Let's talk Agastache. I'm getting eager to see ORANGE! Like Agastache 'Kudos Mandarin'. Is it summer yet?
Indeed, spring is just a couple of blocks away. Can you share some images with us of the full bloom of the flower.
Can't believe we're still waiting! So bitter cold in all the wind and flurries. Saw Tundra Swans yesterday....
Seeds are all up. Can I manage to keep them going for 2 more months? Sigh.
Barry, ice storm knocked down my lilacs. You KNOW what is planted beneath them!!! Major tree damage here. Sigh....
But BLUE hepaticas are beginning. :)
